Few pros and cons of Blackstone 17in griddle
Pros:
- Portable
It is simple to move. Take it to a friend’s house to assist with the neighbourhood barbecue, load it up in the car or RV for a camping excursion, or toss it in the back of the truck for a tailgate. Although you can easily move it, the steel piece is still heavy.
- Inexpensive
This may bring a lot of fun to low-cost outdoor cooking adventures, as it costs less than $100.
- Cooks evenly
The unique back grease-catching mechanism is amazing, and the solid steel cooktop is a dream come true. Cooking is a really enjoyable experience.
Cons:
- Only 1 heat zone
It would have been good to have two heat zones when cooking if you had gone up to the 22-inch size.
On the other hand, if you can cook several things at once on the griddle, and they all will turn out well as long as they were cooked at the same temperature.
- A little small
Once more, you would have had enough capacity to cook the meat and onions for Philly cheesesteaks at the same time if you had just sized up to the 22. There is a limit to how much you can cook at once with the 17′′.
While the 17″ Blackstone Griddle has its size limitations, larger models bring added weight. For portability and ease of movement, especially on-the-go, the 17″ version is highly recommended.
